Please refer to the README.md for any related question. We don't have a specific website for documentation related to the Bitnami Redmine container. I haven't been able to find any Docker flavored Redmine documentation on Bitnami's website other than the readme file for the installation. :) I've also installed a couple other Bitnami stacks on VM machines and those were very easy to get up and going as well.
#BITNAMI REDMINE VM INSTALL#
I'd probably still be pulling my hair out if I had just tried to install all the packages. I had this thing up and running in no time flat with no real knowledge of what I was doing and I've been very productive with my Redmine installation for the last couple weeks. Please know that I am asking these questions due to my ignorance and I am not complaining about the Bitnami stack. are those setup by the container author and those are the only variables applicable to that container? In other words, if a variable is not configured in the Bitnami container that variable would not be available for my installation? I was looking at another Redmine container and it had a lot more environment variables. Everything I can find regarding Redmine operation/configuration outside of the actual web application is based on Bundle and Rake and those are inside the container. I was able to make the SMTP notifications work on my Redmine installation, but I still have not been able to make the "importing email as an issue" function work because I cannot run the "rake redmine:email:receive_imap" command.
I am new to Docker and ignorant to its ways, but I was pointed to some good tutorials that I am beginning on.
